STANLIB Kenya is a leading fund manager in East Africa, and is owned by Liberty Holdings Limited, which is listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange. It manages assets worth over Kshs 121 billion.

Our clients are mainly institutional and corporate investors with short-term cash management and medium- to long-term investment needs, including retirement funds, asset management and retail investors seeking to invest at regular intervals or in once-off lump sum investments. Our retail clients comprise individual investors, high-net-worth individuals, clubs, small business associations, and community cooperatives.

  • The STANLIB Equity Fund, which offers long-term capital growth, a reasonable level of dividends, and maximum stability.
  • The STANLIB Money Market Fund, a collective investment scheme that aims to maximize income while preserving capital and ensuring liquidity of invested funds.
  • The STANLIB Balanced Fund, a medium-term collective investment scheme that invests in a diversified spread of equities and fixed income securities.
  • The STANLIB Bond Fund, a medium-term collective investment scheme that invests in a diversified spread of fixed-income securities.
  • The STANLIB Fahari I-REIT is Kenya’s first Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). It aims to provide investors with a steady stream of income and capital growth by investing at least 75% of its Total Asset Value (“TAV”) in real estate in strategic locations within Kenya.

By August 2016, the Fahari I-REIT registered an impressive 6.5% interim half year return following its successful listing on the Nairobi Securities Exchange. The return consists of capital and rental income, with registered headline earnings of 23.19 cents per unit.
